A foodie calendar

2022 has arrived and if you are like me, you are currently 80% made up of Christmas food. That said, as the wonderful festive period has now gone, now is a good time to look ahead and if everything goes to plan, 2022 will be an exciting time for myself and BeingGlutenFree.co.uk. For now though, lets look at some dates to be excited about:

Chinese New Year 1st February; The year of the Tiger: I love Chinese food but unfortunately for me, my local Chinese does not offer gluten free alternatives. That said, I have adapted several of my favourite Chinese meals and the recipes can be found here.

Shrove Tuesday 1st March 2022: Who doesn’t love pancake day? Seriously, I go all in and not just on Shrove Tuesday. Find my recipe ideas for gluten free pancakes here.

Easter 17th April: No introduction needed :d Recipes can be found here.

Halloween 31st October: I didn’t do much last year for Halloween but hopefully this year I will get a chance.

Bonfire night 5th November: Remember, remember the 5th November. Dedicated section coming soon.

Thanksgiving 24th November: Dedicated section coming soon.

Christmas Sunday 25th December: Back to my favourite baking and cooking time of the year. View my Christmas section here.

I will of course be covering various themes throughout the year so keep peeled on my blog.
